What is Salon Suite?
A salon suite is a private, fully enclosed space designed for beauty professionals to run their own businesses. It offers an alternative to traditional salon setups, providing a quiet, personalized environment where professionals can focus entirely on their clients. Each suite includes a locking door with an electronic code for added security and privacy. It enables full control over cleanliness and hygiene, as only you manage the space. Salon suites go beyond traditional booth or chair rentals, offering a step toward business ownership and a customized client experience.
What is included in each Salons Elevated Suites?
Each salon studio is thoughtfully designed with professional features to meet the needs of beauty professionals. These include spacious built-in cabinets, a large mirror, full-spectrum LED lighting, a quartz countertop color bar with a sink for mixing, a Euro-style shampoo bowl, and a styling chair. Additional conveniences like built-in phone chargers and pop-up outlets ensure functionality and ease.
For non-stylists, such as lash technicians, nail technicians, or estheticians, the studio can be adapted to suit their specific needs. All you need to bring are your tools and products to personalize the space and start your business. It’s a versatile setup that caters to various beauty and wellness professionals.

How much can I make?
Many of our initial tenants have seen an increase in their earnings compared to their previous workplaces. Several factors contribute to this boost:
1. Higher Service Rates: Tenants often have the flexibility to slightly increase their prices.
2. Attracting New Clients: The unique and innovative salon suite concept draws in curious new customers.
3. Product Sales: As a suite owner, you keep 100% of the profits from selling products—often with little effort, as clients frequently request them.
This new business model can make a significant difference for beauty professionals transitioning from employee to owner. If you’d like a more detailed breakdown of what this transition might look like financially, let me know! I’d love to help.

Can I share a suite?
Yes, with approval, you can share a studio for a small additional weekly cost, which can be ideal for those who prefer working fewer hours. Sharing allows you and a friend to work part-time in the same single-chair studio, thanks to 24/7 access that offers plenty of time for both schedules.
Each additional person must have proper licensing and insurance. There’s an upcharge of $20 per week per extra person for single-chair studios. Double-chair studios can accommodate two people at the standard weekly cost, with the same $20/week fee for any additional stylists.
To ensure comfort, only one stylist per chair is allowed in the studio at a time. If you and your partner outgrow the shared space, your partner gets priority placement at the top of the waiting list for their own studio.

How long is my lease?
Our standard lease is for 52 weeks and includes two weeks of vacation time. You have flexibility in how you pay for your studio. The default option is weekly rent, which is automatically transferred from your bank account on Friday mornings. Alternatively, you can choose to make monthly payments or even pay the full amount upfront as a one-time payment. This setup allows you to select the option that best fits your financial preferences and planning!
Do you take a percentage of my sales?
No! With your salon suite, you have complete control over your business and earnings. You set your own prices for services and products, and you keep 100% of the revenue you generate. The only expense you have to cover is your rent, no hidden fees or additional costs. It’s your business, your rules, and your profit!

Are there any hidden fees:
No! The only extra fee you might encounter is an overdraft fee. If your rent payment is returned, there’s a $5 charge to help cover the bank’s fee. This ensures transparency and keeps unexpected costs minimal for everyone.
Can I sell retail salon products from my studio?
Absolutely! Selling products is not only encouraged but can also be highly beneficial. Many tenants manage to cover their entire rent through product sales alone. The best part? You have complete freedom to choose which products to sell and source them from your preferred wholesale supplier. We don’t take any share of your profits—everything you earn from product sales stays with you!
What do I need to get started?
Every salon owner must have a current state license, a local business license, and professional liability insurance to operate. If you need assistance obtaining any of these, we’re happy to help you get set up. If you already have everything in place, simply pay your deposit, and after your background check is cleared, we’ll provide your virtual keys. From there, it’s just a matter of setting up your studio—and as soon as you’re ready, you can start welcoming clients!
Do I need to purchase any insurance?
Yes, you’ll need $2 million in general and professional liability insurance, which might sound overwhelming at first. However, we’ve partnered with an insurance provider, allowing you to secure the required coverage for as little as $100 per year. If you’re unsure about how to get started, don’t worry—we’ll guide you through the process to make it as smooth and simple as possible!
Can I add additional furniture to my studio?
Absolutely! Your salon studio is your space to personalize and make uniquely yours. You can bring in features like waiting chairs, snack carts, tables, or fridges—whatever suits your style and creates a comfortable environment for your clients.
The only restriction is on additional styling chairs; single-chair studios are limited to one styling chair, and double-chair studios are limited to two, ensuring comfort and space for everyone. If you have a styling chair you love, you’re welcome to use it instead of ours—just let us know, and we’ll handle the removal of our chair for you!

Can I personalize my studio?
We wholeheartedly encourage you to personalize your salon suite and make it uniquely yours! Our neutral wall color serves as a versatile backdrop for any design aesthetic. With approval, you can even change the wall color if desired. Feel free to bring in your own touches, like artwork, pillows, rugs, lamps, vinyl quotes, or apartment-style wallpaper.
If additional shelving would enhance your space, simply reach out for approval, and we’ll assist in accommodating your request. The goal is to create a welcoming, personalized environment where both you and your clients feel comfortable and inspired.

Do I have to work certain days or hours?
No, you’re completely in control of your schedule! You can choose the hours and days that work best for you. Some tenants start their day before 8AM, while others work late into the night, even past 10PM. The flexibility of 24/7 access means that, if a client has a last-minute need—like a color emergency—you can meet them at your suite at any time. This round-the-clock accessibility allows you to tailor your work hours to fit your lifestyle and your clients’ needs seamlessly!
Are inquiries confidential?
Absolutely! Your privacy is important to us. We won’t reach out to your current employer or the salon where you may be renting a booth or chair. Everything remains confidential until you’re ready to make your big announcement about joining the Beauty Collective. The timing and details are entirely in your hands!
How can I afford it?
You might be surprised by how achievable it is to afford a salon studio.
Often, people focus on rent alone and miss the bigger picture of how they can maximize their revenue to cover it—and then some. Let’s have a conversation about your current weekly service revenue and explore ways to grow it.
By increasing your working hours, welcoming more clients, selling products, or raising your prices (since you’re now offering a luxury private experience), you can significantly boost your earnings. If you’re currently working part-time and not looking to take on new clients, this step might be more challenging unless you share the space with a partner. However, if you’re ready to expand your hours, attract new clients, or you’re already fully booked with a loyal client base, a salon suite could be a perfect fit.
To put it in perspective, the cost of weekly rent is roughly equivalent to the revenue from one full-service client (e.g., a haircut, foils, color, or balayage) plus some product sales. Let’s focus on more than just the rent itself and look at the potential this opportunity brings!

Do I just pay for the days I actually cut hair?
No, weekly rent is required regardless of how many days you work. However, if you only plan to work part-time, we can try to pair you with another part-time professional to share a suite. This can help balance the cost and make the setup more manageable for both of you. Let us know your situation, and we’ll do our best to assist!
Do you offer referral bonuses?
We absolutely value referrals—there’s nothing better than building a community of professionals you enjoy working alongside each other! If you know a friend or colleague who would be a perfect fit at the Salons Elevated Suites, just let us know that you referred them. As a token of appreciation, we’ll reward you with a free week of rent. It’s a win-win for everyone involved!
